Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero (born Patricia Apollonia Kotero) is an American actor, singer, and former model. Her most well-known role was co-starring in the film of Prince's Purple Rain and for having been the main singer for the group of girls Apollonia 6. Apollonia is a singer/actress who was christened by Prince in 1984, became one of many female musicians of the 80s that benefited from Prince. Patricia Kotero was born in Santa Monica, California in 1959. Her career started as a model in the latter part of 1970. She also appeared on CHiPS. The show's lead actress was for Prince's Purple Rain in 1984 (at which point he had changed her name). At the time of that year, she took over Vanity as part of the trio Vanity 6 as well as performed alongside them under the brand name Apollonia 6 in the film.
